Using a person and family centered approach, the Surgical Services Network Council will focus on surgical services and work with operational partners, physicians, and patients to provide regional direction to guide the standardization of, and improve, care delivery based on the needs of the Interior Health population as well as to meet the Ministry of Health key deliverables and targets set forth for Surgical Services annually.

This opportunity is at the level of Collaborate on the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation.

  • Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Comfortable using technology to attend online/virtual meetings
  • An interest in improving health care services
  • The time to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Benefit for patient partner to have recent Surgical Service experience to share opportunities and areas for improvement.
Patient Partners ARE NOT required to be PVN members to participate in this engagement opportunity.
