It’s nice to meet you! We’re passionate about improving the quality of care through patient engagement and building partnerships to improve health care in BC.

The BC Patient Safety & Quality Council‘s patient and public engagement team is located throughout British Columbia so that we can recruit, orient and support patients as they engage in health system transformation, as well as support health care partners to identify and coordinate engagement opportunities.

PVN has really helped us engage with patient partners to improve health services at Northern Health.  It is more and more becoming the norm to include patients in the design, delivery and evaluation of health services.  PVN education and supports, involving patient partners, have enabled us to develop the capacity to include the patient voice to make care better and achieve better health outcomes.
