Patient partners inspire creativity that health care teams may otherwise not think about. Share your experience to challenge people to think differently. If you live in the greater Vancouver area, we want you to open our 2024 Connecting Care: Fostering Unity in Healthcare Digital Health Conference on February 8th, 2024.

More Information:
The annual Ahead of the Curve Conference brings together professionals, organizations, and ideas from across the Vancouver digital health landscape. Attendees connect with existing communities and initiate new relationships within both traditional and emerging segments of health and health care in the greater Vancouver area. The patient partner opens the conference by talking about their health care journey, how they advocated for themselves, and the unity they found with their doctors and any other allied health professionals that helped them along the way.

Where those of us in the room may have debated policy or wording, patient voices made sure patients were top of mind. And as a result, significant improvements were made to simplify something that was otherwise complex. Patient voices at the table bring us back to reality in terms of what we are trying to achieve.
