Provincial Learning Event: Engaging Patients in Health Care Improvements

  • This event has passed.

October 17, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Free

If you have used health care in BC, and have great ideas on how the system can be improved, join us for a lively discussion of possibilities available through the Patient Voices Network and how you can get involved today. By including the voice of the patient in health care discussions, more informed decisions can be made, and problems resolved more effectively.

This Provincial Learning Event is presented by Jami Brown, the Patient Voices Network’s Engagement Leader for Patient and Public Engagement in the Fraser Valley Region.

Provincial Learning Events are toll-free teleconferences, hosted by the BC Association of Community Response Networks (BC CRN), that take place the third Tuesday of the month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Email info@bccrns.ca to receive notifications of upcoming teleconferences and to receive dial-in info.

The bottom line is because we’re caring for patients. People who know best are those who are receiving the care so it makes logical sense that we would consult with them about their experiences. By connecting with PVN we have been able to educate our teams about the value of patient partners and how important their perspective is in our services.
