We are looking for at least 5 patient partners to provide a review and feedback on a new patient handout that will be given to patients upon discharge at NRGH, RJH and VGH. The goal is to ensure the information provided in the handout is clear and “patient friendly”. There is an opportunity to make some minor updates to this handout.

There will also be opportunities to participate in a review of this form after it has been in use for 3-6 months.

This will be a virtual meeting on March 28, 2023 from 2:00-3:30

Level of Engagement

This opportunity is at the level of Involve on the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation.

Eligibility

  • Willing & comfortable to share health care experiences in a group setting
  • Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Comfortable using technology to attend online/virtual meetings
  • An interest in improving health care services
  • The time to participate in the engagement opportunity

Patient Partners ARE NOT required to be PVN members to participate in this engagement opportunity.
