The IH Ethics Council plays an important role in supporting health programs and services to be planned in an integrated manner, aligned with Interior Health’s 2021-24 Strategic Priorities.
The patient partner voice is a valued and respected member of the council and will collaborate with the council for discussions and decisions made at the council level. Previous committee or council experience is an asset but not required.
Access to technology and the internet is required as the meetings are held virtually.

Level of Engagement

This opportunity is at the level of Collaborate on the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation.

Eligibility

  • Previous committee/working group experience
  • Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Comfortable using technology to attend online/virtual meetings
  • An interest in improving health care services
  • The time to participate in the engagement opportunity

Patient Partners ARE required to be PVN members to participate in this engagement opportunity.
