To connect with others in PVN and explore how patient partners can get the most out of your PVN experience.

This opportunity is at the level of involve on the spectrum of engagement. The promise to you is that the health care partner will involve patients in planning and design phases to ensure ideas or concerns are considered and reflected in alternatives and recommendations.

No out of pocket expenses are anticipated for this engagement opportunity.

Background
Every now and then we check in with our patient partners from the Patient Voices Network. Regional update meetings will share news/give updates re: PVN and the work of the Council as well as what is happening across your region. We will also explore topics that give you a chance to share your ideas that can improve your PVN experience.

These meetings will also provide an opportunity to meet other PVN patient partners and to get to know your Engagement Leader. Regional update meetings will be scheduled bi-annually in the spring and fall with the aim of keeping patient partners linked and supported within the network.

PVN has really helped us engage with patient partners to improve health services at Northern Health.  It is more and more becoming the norm to include patients in the design, delivery and evaluation of health services.  PVN education and supports, involving patient partners, have enabled us to develop the capacity to include the patient voice to make care better and achieve better health outcomes.
