Background
This opportunity is a continuation of the Patient Voices Network involvement in the CMH Redevelopment project. During the planning stages a meeting with the PVN was held September 13, 2018, where stories were shared and heard by the project team.
The main topics that were explored are as follows: Access to site services and the CMH hospital building, Patient flow in the hospital, experience and thoughts about the build hospital environment, and a ‘parking lot’ where topics and ideas were captured that were outside of the project’s proposed scope which was directed by the Ministry of Health.
Now that the project has been approved by the Ministry of Health we would like share information about the project, including the design progress in order to obtain more feedback.
The project team members will be involved which are: The Project Manager, the communications Lead, the clinical registered nurse lead, the health care equipment coordinator, the digital health coordinator, the protection services lead, and any other project team members that may be available.
This project is focused on the Acute Care setting.
