Opportunity Purpose
We are developing a survey to understand the impact of illness on people’s ability to work. We are focusing on three health conditions: alopecia areata, atopic dermatitis, and migraines. The perspectives of patient partners will be vital to ensuring that the survey captures what matters most to patients who are experiencing different levels of severity of illness.

Details
All interactions can be completed through the phone or internet (video conference). Patient partners will participate in meetings with the research team and be encouraged to provide their thoughts on how the survey should be designed, disseminated to patients, and their interpretation of the results. We expect approximately 6 meetings over the course of one-year.

Eligibility
Age: 19 Years – 120 Years Old

Patient and family partners should not be a check box on research proposals! They need to be involved right from the start. I know patient and family partners are doing their part by providing their knowledge to researchers from their lived experience.  It’s a win-win for us to work together through PVN to make sure our input drives improvements.
