Study Purpose:
Aging in Place in Rural and Remote Regions (APR3) is a study by researchers from TRU, UNBC, and UBC-O. The study aims to compare how three Seniors Health and Wellness Centres in Kamloops, Kelowna, and Salmon Arm are meeting their goals and addressing the needs and priorities of rural older adults, and helping them age in place (stay in their own homes).

We want to hear from older adults 65 years or older who 1) live in a rural or remote community AND 2) have accessed a Seniors Health and Wellness Centre in either Kamloops, Kelowna, or Salmon Arm. We emphasize equity, diversity, and inclusion as guiding principles for the study – we are hoping to reach older adults from diverse backgrounds.

What’s Involved:
We are asking participants to join us for a questionnaire over telephone or computer, or by mail. This questionnaire should take no longer than one hour and will be scheduled before February 28th,  2022, at your convenience. We are happy to thank participants for their time and offer a $25 honorarium in the form of a gift card.
