Opportunity Purpose
We are looking to invite about 12 diverse resident, family caregiver and staff partners to participate as members of a Partners Group in long-term care and assisted living at Fraser Health. The purpose of this group will be to support current partnerships in timely COVID-19 related projects as well as maintain and inform the establishment of an ongoing Partners Group in long-term care and assisted living.

What’s Involved
Advisory members will be asked to engage in activities such as sharing their perspectives, informing research questions, identifying priorities, approving activities, reviewing documents, developing protocols, providing feedback and brainstorming ideas. PVN has really helped us engage with patient partners to improve health services at Northern Health.  It is more and more becoming the norm to include patients in the design, delivery and evaluation of health services.  PVN education and supports, involving patient partners, have enabled us to develop the capacity to include the patient voice to make care better and achieve better health outcomes.
