The Ministry of Health is creating a provincial look and feel (i.e., a brand) for primary care networks (PCNs). A 45-minute Zoom webinar followed by a survey will be held in late July to gain patient feedback to support the creation of the PCN brand. The goal is to ensure the diverse voices and perspectives of the people who use the health system are heard so that the PCN brand resonates with British Columbians.

The hope is to ensure this brand reflects how PCNs are improving access to everyday health-care services closer to your home.

Open to patient partners across British Columbia who:
Have a computer or mobile device with video and audio, and internet access
Are passionate about primary care in communities
Will sign a Ministry of Health confidentiality agreement

The team will be seeking to include diverse patient voices who bring their unique perspectives to this consultation. They are committed to working with interested patient partners to make this a safe and comfortable environment for sharing feedback.

Date:
As soon as possible

Seeking the patient perspective doesn’t have to be complicated; it simply entails a commitment to ask and listen. Patient advisors not only bring a valuable perspective but also share original ideas and unique skills. Including the patient and family perspective changes the conversation and aligns the team’s focus towards common goals.
