A Photovoice Study of East, South, and Southeast Asian People with Endometriosis

Study Purpose
In this study, we will use an arts-based approach (Photovoice) to gather the experiences of East, South, and Southeast Asian people with endometriosis during the pandemic. We have a specific interest in mental health, quality of life, accessing and/or utilizing supports or health care services, and social determinants of health.

Details
Participants will take 8-10 photographs that show their experiences of endometriosis during the pandemic. They will create 1-2 sentence captions for each photo, and submit the photos and captions to the research team. Lastly, they will partake in an individual, in-depth interview with one of our research team members to discuss their photos. Photos and captions submitted by participants may be shared in virtual and/or in-person exhibits.

Age: 19 Years – 100 Years Old
