Join us to Celebrate Provincial Health Research: Five Days in May (FDIM) Events

Five Days in May (FDIM) is a provincial research showcase presented by the five regional health authorities and the First Nations Health Authority. Our goal is to educate, inform, inspire and stimulate provincial health care research awareness in an open and inclusive forum.

Identified themes for this year’s event include Mental Health and Substance Use, Indigenous Health, Community Health, Rural Health, COVID-19 and Seniors Health.  Attached, you will find the FDIM Program at Glance, and the specific Northern Region supported events.

Where: Virtual via Zoom; once registered you will receive a calendar invite with the meeting details

When: Five Tuesdays in May (May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31)

Patient and family partners should not be a check box on research proposals! They need to be involved right from the start. I know patient and family partners are doing their part by providing their knowledge to researchers from their lived experience.  It’s a win-win for us to work together through PVN to make sure our input drives improvements.
