Opportunity Purpose
Our research team is looking for an older adult patient partner to contribute to multiple research projects about physical activity, possibly including surveys, interviews, and consensus meetings. Our main goal is to better understand what older adults seek to gain from engaging in physical activity, so that clinical trials measure those outcomes that matter most to older adults.

Details
We would like an older adult to join research team meetings and review wording of informed consent forms, measurement tools (e.g., surveys, interview guides), and recruitment materials for relevance and accessibility. The patient partner would also help us test measurement tools and recruit study participants through their existing networks, if possible. The patient partner could be involved in interpretation of study results and publications.

Eligibility
Age: 65 Years – 115 Years Old

Patient and family partners should not be a check box on research proposals! They need to be involved right from the start. I know patient and family partners are doing their part by providing their knowledge to researchers from their lived experience.  It’s a win-win for us to work together through PVN to make sure our input drives improvements.
