November 16, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The Centre for Collaboration, Motivation and Innovation has developed a series of webinars to support the Ministry of Health’s priority of furthering patient-centred care by emphasizing patient’s central role in managing their own health; providing information on how effective self-management strategies can improve healthcare, and how by using a collaborative approach, providers and patients can work together to define problems, set priorities, establish goals, create treatment plans, and solve problems along the way.

The November 16 webinar is about evaluating the patient experience and will be presented by Kathy Reims. Click here to register.

The bottom line is because we’re caring for patients. People who know best are those who are receiving the care so it makes logical sense that we would consult with them about their experiences. By connecting with PVN we have been able to educate our teams about the value of patient partners and how important their perspective is in our services.
