Moving from “what’s wrong” to “what’s happened to you?”. This webinar is an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the connection between trauma, addiction, and mental health.

About the Concurrent Disorders Webinar Series: This is a quarterly event designed for patients and families, by patients and families. It is a welcoming space for all patients and families interested in learning about topics related to complex and concurrent mental health and substance use disorders.

The question I like to ask health care employees is ‘Who is this for?’ and ‘Do we have the right people at the table?’ As a health care employee, I see how easy it is to fall into doing for, rather than doing with patients. The voices of the patient, family and caregiver are essential to ensure the patient is central to the direction and focus of the work being done.
