Opportunity Purpose
“Unplanned Hospital Readmission Following Critical Illness Survival: An Investigation of the Survivor-Family Dyad” is a study examining critical illness survival and unplanned hospital readmission following intensive care unit (ICU) care. We currently have one Patient Partner and one Caregiver Partner but are looking to recruit additional Patient and Caregiver Partners.

What’s Involved
What will the Patient/Caregiver Partners do?
-Be engaged in all research phases to ensure the research remains focused on ICU patients and family caregivers’ priorities and that findings are relevant to ICU patients and caregivers
-Patient/Caregiver Partners will co-create interview guides, participate in bi-monthly team meetings, and support interpretation of findings and knowledge translation activities.
