The purpose of this clinical practice council is to develop, seek feedback and share clinical practice policies, decision support tools, standard operating procedures and other relevant materials for community based Mental Health and Substance Use practice based on best and emerging practices.

The Clinical Practice Council would like two people with lived experience with mental health and/or substance use disorder. It would also be important that the applicants are able to attend the meeting dates and times of the fourth Wednesday of every month from 1 – 2 p.m. via Zoom.
Please contact ce@vch.ca if you have any questions.

PVN has really helped us engage with patient partners to improve health services at Northern Health.  It is more and more becoming the norm to include patients in the design, delivery and evaluation of health services.  PVN education and supports, involving patient partners, have enabled us to develop the capacity to include the patient voice to make care better and achieve better health outcomes.
