Last updated

Vancouver Community is currently reviewing and redesigning its mental health and substance use services to better meet the needs of our patients in the community and to provide better support for our staff. The Core Values Working Group goals are to determine what core services should be provided by the neighborhood based mental health and substance use teams.

The mental health and substance use teams involved are Raven Song MHSU, South MHSU, Evergreen SU, Grandview Woodland MH, Northeast MH, Three Bridges SU, West End MH, South MHSU, Kitsilano Fairview MH and STEPS Rehab Team.

The working group would like to recruit two patient partners and two family members to participate on this working group. If you have experience with VCH Community Mental Health Services, please consider supporting this project.

Please contact ce@vch.ca if you have any questions. Thank you!

Patient and family partners should not be a check box on research proposals! They need to be involved right from the start. I know patient and family partners are doing their part by providing their knowledge to researchers from their lived experience.  It’s a win-win for us to work together through PVN to make sure our input drives improvements.
