Researchers’ Café: Stories of Patient-Oriented Health Research

This is a café-style event to discover and discuss current research projects that are exploring topical health issues including Indigenous and seniors’ health, the opioid crisis and robots in care. The emphasis on this event is showcasing four projects that have meaningful engagement of stakeholders (patients, health providers, decision makers and academics) on the project team. The teams will share the process and impact of their patient-oriented research.

I know patient and family partners are doing their part by providing their knowledge to researchers from their lived experience.  It’s a win-win for us to work together through PVN to make sure our input drives improvements.
