Check-In Checklist

Posted • Last updated

It is good practice for patient and healthcare partners to periodically check-in with each other to make sure that everything is on track and everyone feels good about working together. This Check-in Checklist provides some questions to help guide a conversation about changes that may be needed to improve the experience and outcomes for all involved.

Patient and family partners should not be a check box on research proposals! They need to be involved right from the start. I know patient and family partners are doing their part by providing their knowledge to researchers from their lived experience.  It’s a win-win for us to work together through PVN to make sure our input drives improvements.
