Opportunity Purpose
COVID-19 vaccination rates among 20-29 year olds in the Island Health region are lower compared to Vancouver Coastal and Fraser Health. We need your help to better understand why and to support developing innovative approaches to improve vaccine uptake. Join our Advisory Group to ensure that this study is inclusive, accessible, and relevant to young adults!

What’s Involved
Advisors will support the development of survey and interview guides, as well as the participant recruitment strategy. Additional opportunities to contribute to the interpretation of study findings and how to effectively share results will be available if advisors are interested. Advisors will share their thoughts at team meetings and by email. Meetings will be online/by phone; advisors must reside within Vancouver Island Health Authority.

Where those of us in the room may have debated policy or wording, patient voices made sure patients were top of mind. And as a result, significant improvements were made to simplify something that was otherwise complex. Patient voices at the table bring us back to reality in terms of what we are trying to achieve.
