Opportunity Purpose
In this research, we are seeking to identify a set of compassion concepts that would serve as a reference guide for developing an interactive digital health platform for patients with vulvar pain. Patient partner perspectives are needed because only patients understand the most crucial concerns regarding vulvar pain and their perspectives are needed in developing patient-centered digital platforms.

Details
The patient partners will provide an overall guide to the study from a patient perspective. Specifically, they will 1. Review the initial proposal and suggest revisions 2. Guide on study recruitment and data collection (interviews) 3. Review the compassion care concepts 4. Review and provide feedback on a mockup for the study 5. Provide guidance and suggestions on the validation exercise.

Seeking the patient perspective doesn’t have to be complicated; it simply entails a commitment to ask and listen. Patient advisors not only bring a valuable perspective but also share original ideas and unique skills. Including the patient and family perspective changes the conversation and aligns the team’s focus towards common goals.
