Emergency Room Experience at VGH or SPH – Disposition of Patients Visiting Emergency Departments

Opportunity Purpose
We will investigate the impact of 24/7 care by comparing imaging studies, patient satisfaction, radiology report turnaround time, patient length of stay and the overall cost incurred according to the race and gender of the patients before and after implementing the new model. We will also engage patient partners and BC SUPPORT Unit to get patient input and ongoing feedback.

Patient partners will provide input and guidance on study methods and procedures from a patient perspective
