Opportunity Purpose
At Legacy for Airway Health (LAH), we aim to incorporate the community stakeholders’ perspectives and input into establishing program priorities, selecting projects, supporting recruitment for clinical studies, co-identifying, co-developing and co-delivering dissemination activities. Members of the Community Stakeholder Committee (CSC) are seen as ambassadors for LAH goals and values.

What’s Involved
CSC members volunteer as patient partners in research related to asthma/COPD care and prevention. They participate in training sessions about research (offered as needed). They may also help develop policies and procedures for CSC activities, participate in strategic planning for LAH initiatives, participate in LAH-related communications or events, or run for CSC co-chair. All meetings occur over Zoom video until in-person events are safe.
