Volunteer Opportunity
A one stop shop for the pregnancy journey gives people access to the best resources to support them. The team in the Vancouver Division of Family Practice is seeking a team of patients, families and caregivers who have a passion for reviewing websites to consult on this prototype.

Lead Organization/Department
Vancouver Division of Family Practice

• To create a one stop, shop website for the pregnancy journey.
• Patient partners will offer their unique perspective and insight to consult on the usefulness of the website.

Level of Engagement
This opportunity is at the level of consult on the spectrum of engagement. The promise to you is that the health care partner will listen to and acknowledge your ideas and concerns, and provide feedback on how your input affected the decision.

Open to volunteers in the Vancouver and surrounding areas who:
• Have experience with pregnancy or supporting someone through pregnancy.
• Are passionate about websites.
• Can use online platforms, such as zoom.

If you have a strong interest in this work but have not yet completed a PVN orientation and Patient Partner Commitment, are unsure if your experience is a good fit, please contact Jami Brown directly.

There will be an informal conversation about the opportunity. The goal is to find the best fit for all involved.

• Number: 2
• Date/Time: to be determined with the patient partners
• Commitment: one time.
• Location: Via Zoom.

No out-of-pocket expenses are anticipated for this engagement opportunity. However, if you meet the eligibility criteria, but have concerns about your ability to participate, please contact Jami Brown- to see if support options are available. We are always seeking to better understand and reduce barriers to participation.

EASI Maternity Care Project: a one-stop information hub for patients and providers that bring together the best maternity care resources that are available online. We are looking for patient partners to test the website and provide some input on how it functions for them.

The Patient Voices Network has connected me to a community with the same drive to bring person- and family-centred care to the forefront. I am grateful for all opportunities I have been a part of thanks to PVN, which positively impacts patients like my sister and their caregivers. No matter how small, all patient engagement will help shape the future of health care and that I can stand behind
