Description: Join Jana Archer of Island Health and Tammy Hoefer of Health Quality BC as they share about the future of patient partnership in Island Health, and the launch of a new Island Health patient and public partnership program.
Jana and Tammy look forward to sharing about this new program and what this change may mean for you, including new supports and opportunities for engagement. We also will share how Island Health and PVN will continue to collaborate going forward. We are excited to grow and continue to support the amazing impact patient partners make every day across Island Health!
Attendees will be invited to share questions ahead of time or during the meeting, and as many as possible will be answered during the meeting.

Time: July 24th 2024. 9:30am-10:30am

Follow up: A message will be sent to all participants after the meeting with answers to questions that arose during the meeting. In addition, a survey will be sent out after the meeting with a few short questions to ask for patient partner feedback on the format and content of the meeting.

PVN helped empower me to make meaningful contributions to Primary Care (PC) locally and provincially.  It also facilitated creation of PC Patient Voices which is focused on PC and provides education support and building on shared experiences.
