Fraser Health is actively recruiting to the Regional Patient and Family Advisory Council. This council meets monthly with Fraser Health leaders to promote and advance person-centred care and improve health care quality, safety and experience.
Share your experiences and ideas with leaders on Fraser Health priority projects to make sure your perspective is considered in service planning, delivery, and evaluation. Fraser Health values meaningful dialogue with the people they serve to support the transformation of health care.
Examples of engagement activities include:
– Quality Improvement Projects related to Violence Prevention, Sustainability and Emergency Preparedness, Essential Care Partners, Infection Control)
– Communication Strategies (patient education pamphlets, website content, social media messages)
– Staff education curriculum design
– Patient Experience Data review and analysis
The regional council meets virtually twice a month for 2 hours (1 meeting in December and no meetings in August). Meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Monday every month in the morning.
