The Prince George Shoulder Care Clinic is undergoing an Improvement Project to decrease wait times for new referrals to access the clinic. We are seeking a Patient Partner to add the patient voice to this project.

We are moving forward in early November 2024 with Process Mapping to uncover bottlenecks in the current process and would like to include at least one Patient Partner in this process. This will occur at the Shoulder Care Clinic and will involve attendance at the live event by all team members including the Patient Partner.

Level of Engagement

This opportunity is at the level of Involve on the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation.

Eligibility

  • Willing & comfortable to share health care experiences in a group setting
  • Specific health care experiences [details below]
  • Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Comfortable using technology to attend online/virtual meetings
  • An interest in improving health care services
  • The time to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • We are seeking a Patient Partner who has attended the Shoulder Care Clinic in the last 24 months OR a close relative of a patient who has attended the clinic who can speak to the patient experience.
Patient Partners ARE NOT required to be PVN members to participate in this engagement opportunity.
