The Island Health Office of Experience is building a new Patient and Public Partnership program. We are looking for a group of patient partners to provide rapid feedback on a variety of topics and resources over the next 6-8 weeks as we develop the preliminary elements of this new program.

You will receive questions, documents or short surveys via email requesting your input and feedback. These requests will have short timelines but there is no obligation to respond to every request. This is a very informal way to receive quick input on small details as we move ahead with building the program. We will share the outcome of each inquiry with those that participated.

Ideally, we would have 6-10 patient partners who would be willing to participate.

Level of Engagement

This opportunity is at the level of Involve on the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation.

Eligibility

  • Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity
Patient Partners ARE NOT required to be PVN members to participate in this engagement opportunity.

Patient and family partners should not be a check box on research proposals! They need to be involved right from the start. I know patient and family partners are doing their part by providing their knowledge to researchers from their lived experience.  It’s a win-win for us to work together through PVN to make sure our input drives improvements.
