The objective of the Improve Access to Spirometry project is to streamline and improve the service model for this critical service (pulmonary testing and spirometry) provided to the northern BC community.

The project is seeking support from a patient partner with living/lived experience. The patient partner will be invited to provide input and feedback to the project working group which is meeting once a month.

Level of Engagement

This opportunity is at the level of Consult on the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation.

Eligibility

  • Willing & comfortable to share health care experiences in a group setting
  • Specific health care experiences [details below]
  • Previous committee/working group experience
  • Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Comfortable using technology to attend online/virtual meetings
  • An interest in improving health care services
  • Living/lived experience with pulmonary testing and spirometry.

Patient Partners ARE required to be PVN members to participate in this engagement opportunity.
