The MNCY program is looking forward to the future and looking to adapt its current programs, policies, and planning to better align with and serve with the future needs of Interior Health and its communities.

We have various committees would love to include patient-public members so that the patient-public voice is represented and present while these decisions are being made and that can help guide the planning and improvement of important programs. We do hope that at least one member is a mother, but it is not a firm pre-requisite for application. Prior professional health care work experience is not necessary.

The following committees need support:

MNCY Steering Committee: Is the governing body for regional planning and the oversight of the MNCY Plan. They provide regional oversight and leadership planning, implementation and continuously improvement of MNCY services across IH.

There are two Sub committees, one is focused on Maternal / Neonatal populations and the other on Pediatric & Youth.
They each oversee implementation that is regional in nature. They lead and coordinate the development and improvement of services and care in individual communities/regions.
