Health Quality BC is inviting a patient partner to join the Quality Forum 2025 & 2026 Steering Committees and contribute to planning one of the largest health quality conferences in Canada! Each year, the Quality Forum attracts more than 1,200 participants working across the continuum of care from communities throughout BC.

Quality Forum 2025 is taking place March 11-13, 2025 in Vancouver. Monthly Zoom meetings will be held between June 2024 and April 2025, with one in-person meeting in Vancouver in June 2024. Quality Forum 2026 timelines are expected to be similar but are not yet confirmed.

HQBC will provide complimentary registration to attend Quality Forum events, as well as coordinate travel and accommodation for Steering Committee members.

The question I like to ask health care employees is ‘Who is this for?’ and ‘Do we have the right people at the table?’ As a health care employee, I see how easy it is to fall into doing for, rather than doing with patients. The voices of the patient, family and caregiver are essential to ensure the patient is central to the direction and focus of the work being done.
