The BC Renal Kidney Care Clinic (KCC) Committee is seeking patient and family members to join the KCC Laboratory Guideline Update Working Group. The Working Group aims to update the clinical guideline on Ordering, Reviewing & Follow-Up of Lab Work and related patient handouts to provide patients with information about lab testing and the meaning of the results. All of these resources will help support patients in their care journey.
Members of the Working Group will include health professionals from health authorities, patient partners, as well as staff from BC Renal. Members will work together by sharing their perspectives on the update of the guideline and patient handouts. The patient partners will help ensure that the updated guidelines and handouts support person- and family-centered care throughout the non-dialysis care journey of those visiting KCCs across BC.
