DHMC guides the development and implementation of the digital strategy, endorses digital health related policies, provides recommendations on the annual digital health investment priorities, provides oversight of Digital Health Investment Plan projects and guides the development of continuous improvement areas of focus. The AI Sub-Committee of DHMC will provide guidance on how AI should support organizational goals using strategy development, ethical guidelines and risk management to guide the selection, implementation, and evaluation of AI initiatives.

We believe that your voice is crucial in making AI in health care more effective and patient friendly. If you are passionate about improving health care through technology, we would love to have you on our team.

Meetings shall occur bimonthly, or as called by the Chair and will be facilitated using video-conferencing technology (Microsoft Teams). A commitment of up to four (4) hours bimonthly, to review material and attend meetings. The committee is expected to meet over the next 12 months, there may be an opportunity to extend after that time.

  • Willing & comfortable to share health care experiences in a group setting

  • Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Comfortable using technology to attend online/virtual meetings
  • An interest in improving health care services
  • The time to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Willingness to share and clearly articulate thoughts, experiences, and insights Ability to analyze and evaluate information to provide constructive feedback Ability to work and collaborate with others effectively, and appreciate different perspectives and opinions A keen interest in the development and application of AI and other technologies in health care and business Being open to new ideas and changes in technology and health care practices
