Join us from November 3rd to 9th for National Pain Awareness Week, a time to raise awareness of chronic pain, its impacts and how implementing An Action Plan for Pain in Canada can improve equitable access to timely and evidence-based care and support for nearly eight million people in Canada living with chronic pain.

Last year, your participation made a difference.
Let’s come together again to spark dialogue and amplify the conversation around chronic pain.

Participating is easy!
We’ve created a toolkit to help you join the National Pain Awareness Week conversation. It includes suggested social media posts on various chronic pain topics and shareable graphics. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #NPAW2024 to build momentum!

This campaign is created in collaboration with Pain Canada’s partners. Each National Pain Awareness Week, Pain Canada and our partners coordinate a national social media campaign that amplifies diverse voices, calls for collective action, and champions the rights of people living with chronic pain to live the best possible life, free from stigma and discrimination.

Recently, a PVN Patient Advisor asked healthcare partners, “What are we learning from patients, families, and others thus far during this pandemic?”. This is an excellent question and one to ask ourselves daily.
