The Café Scientifique event, co-hosted by the UBC Cancer Prevention Research Cluster and the Canadian Cancer Society, will take place on April 10th. Our panel of leading experts in cancer research, public health, and science communication will lead an important discussion on how misinformation impacts cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. This event offers a unique opportunity to engage with experts, explore the evolution of misleading narratives surrounding cancer and discuss strategies for discerning fact from fiction.
