We are currently looking to recruit 2 new enthusiastic Public Representatives to join the IH Quality Management Committee (QMC) to participate in monthly meetings.

The QMC is a senior committee committed to ensuring that the Patient’s voice is heard when strategic decisions are made regarding patient safety and quality of care issues at the organizational level.

Members on this committee review briefing notes and reports related to quality and patient safety issues and recommend measures to improve organizational policies and procedures that enhance patient care.

Level of Engagement

This opportunity is at the level of Involve on the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation.

Eligibility

  • Comfort with public speaking
  • Previous committee/working group experience
  • Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Comfortable using technology to attend online/virtual meetings
  • An interest in improving health care services

Patient Partners ARE NOT required to be PVN members to participate in this engagement opportunity.
