The IH Home Health team is looking to create a pool of volunteer partners to assist in various projects, reviews, document creation, and other initiatives as they come up over the next 1-2 years. Home Health is undergoing changes to improve patient and family experience, increase efficiency, and ensure continued commitment to the highest standards of care. We have new and ongoing projects that are anticipated over the course of the next 1-2 years. We would like a group of patient – public partners to assist Home Health in this work.
First- or second-hand experience with Home Health at IH, either with their own care or the care of a loved one, family member, or friend, that they are deeply involved with is preferred. This experience helps provide a unique lens into how Home Health programs are currently working.
Project leaders will reach out to this group of interested volunteers as opportunities come up. Engagements are expected to be virtual, with occasional opportunity for hybrid work, if necessary.
Partners should have the time to engage in engagements and a passion for improving healthcare.
There is no minimum or maximum amount that patient- public partners need to participate. As this is a volunteer pool, partners are encouraged to sign up to opportunities as they come up, provided they are both interested in the work and/or they have time/capacity to participate. This pool is designed to be low pressure, allowing partners space to live their own lives while also being able to contribute to the future of healthcare.
