Currently, patient companions are not permitted to accompany patients during medical imaging exams. We are looking for public partners to provide input on advancing a patient and family-centred approach to medical imaging services across Interior Health. Patient partners will provide feedback that supports senior leaders to make decisions about revising patient companion guidelines, regional waiting room signs and patient hand-outs. Meetings are held on a virtual Zoom call on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, from 1-2 pm.

Patients with medical imaging experience are warmly welcomed, but anyone can participate. We value diversity in perspectives and are excited to be work from a person- and family-centred care lens.
