Providence Health Care is building a new state-of-the-art research, technology and innovation hub, currently known as the Clinical Support and Research Centre (CSRC) which will be located beside the new St. Paul’s Hospital on the Jim Pattison Medical Campus.
Providence Research is re-imagining how research will be conducted in the CSRC. We are moving away from siloed, centre- or program-based research toward a “neighbourhood” model, which brings researchers together around shared areas of focus to encourage collaboration across disciplines and support solutions to more complex health challenges.
As part of this work, we are seeking community input on the titles of the research neighbourhoods that will be part of the new CSRC. To participate, individuals must:
• Be interested in helping shape the future of research at Providence Research.
• Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity.
We will gather feedback using one of the following methods: virtual meeting (up to 30 mins), or a brief online survey. Following your expression of interest, we will arrange a brief meeting with you to answer any questions.
