Aim

HealthLink BC is in the process of redesigning its website to enhance the way BC citizens find health information and services online. For this phase of the project, we want to review the new website with patient partners to gather their thoughts and feedback. This process will offer vital insight into the users’ understanding of the updated content model and interactions, and inform any adjustments and improvements needed to the website’s design and content placement for the next design phase.

Background

HealthLink BC is a BC Government website that brings together some of British Columbia's most trusted and recognized health information and services so that you can find the health resources and facilities you need, closest to where you live. As the site grows and new technologies change, there is always a need to enhance the website to ensure that BC citizens are finding relevant information and services they need in a timely manner. For this project, HealthLink BC is working with Number 41 - a service design company in Victoria to redesign the site. Much of Number 41 work involves creating website designs which the company then shows to users in order to obtain feedback on whether they can find the information they seek easily, quickly and clearly. One of our current projects involves creating new designs for the BC Government’s HealthLink BC website. Once the testing is complete HealthLink BC will happily send the link to the new website to participants once it's live-expected in the summer of 2018.
