Fraser Health Safety Campaign

Deadline: Apply by

Commitment: One-time

Open to Fraser – Vancouver Coastal

Fraser Health is committed to ensuring our health care spaces are safe workplaces where our teams can support those who are vulnerable in an environment where safety is paramount.
To this end, we continue to work with partners to co-create a public-facing campaign that establishes behavioural expectations, where interactions are positive and where everyone feels protected, valued and heard.

The communications team is looking to recruit patient partners to participate in a photo and video shoot for the safety campaign materials.

The team will work with confirmed participants to find a mutually agreed upon location for the shoot. Some shots will need to take place in a hospital room to represent they are a patient, and then some shots will likely be taken outside or in another setting that looks more “home-like”.

If comfortable, share your perspective by participating in an on-camera interview.

Time commitment: 1.5 to 2 hours

Team members included:
• Senior Communications Consultant
• Photography and / or Videographer

You will be asked to sign a media consent form.

I have learned so much about innovation and capacity building by being part of PVN. I signed up to build my leadership skills, however, I experience benefits for myself, my community and Indigenous peoples throughout the province. I understand more about the complexities and opportunities required to improve health care.
