The Fraser Health Practice Council represents a diverse group of health care and service providers and patient advisors who share a commitment and passion for best practice, quality, and safety. It provides a supportive forum for sharing and hearing multiple perspectives, evidence and practical knowledge, and person-centred practices to make a difference to health outcomes. Topics are focused on safety and quality of practice, person-centred approach to care, and the strategic priorities of the organization.

The group is currently seeking a patient partner to bring the perspective of the people we serve and essential care partners to the work of advancing the strategic vision and goals of Fraser Health.

We currently have one patient partner member and are seeking one or more patient partners to work alongside current members of the Council.

Current membership includes representatives of professions, programs (Mental Health and Substance Use, Maternal Infant Child & Youth), Networks (e.g. Medicine, Surgery, and Renal (kidney) care), and regional support departments such as clinical quality and patient safety, infection prevention and control, and professional practice.
