Assistance needed with the creation of a handout for patients who have experienced concussion. Created for use in the emergency department but may be used in an outpatient setting. Intention of handout is to provide a patient experiencing concussion with essential knowledge and resources for after care, because there is limited access to family doctors or follow up after accessing care in the emergency department.

Looking for patient partners who have experienced concussion and can assist with making the document as accessible as possible for a person experiencing concussion symptoms.

Eligibility

  • Specific health care experiences [details below]
  • Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • An interest in improving health care services
  • The time to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Experience with concussion or mild traumatic brain injury or loved one with concussion
Patient Partners ARE NOT required to be PVN members to participate in this engagement opportunity.
