The Community‑based Point‑of‑Care Testing (POCT) Policy addendum aims to support safe and reliable testing in community settings, closer to where people live and receive care. The goal is to ensure POCT services are consistent, accessible and centered on patient needs.

Hearing directly from patients and caregivers will help identify potential barriers, improve clarity and strengthen how community‑based POCT is designed and delivered. This opportunity includes an invitation to review the drafted policy addendum, a short survey to share feedback on the drafted policy addendum and, if needed, a small number of interviews may be conducted to better understand survey responses. Input will be summarized and used to inform final policy decisions.

This opportunity is at the level of Consult on the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation.

The Patient Voices Network has connected me to a community with the same drive to bring person- and family-centred care to the forefront. I am grateful for all opportunities I have been a part of thanks to PVN, which positively impacts patients like my sister and their caregivers. No matter how small, all patient engagement will help shape the future of health care and that I can stand behind
