With the upcoming opening of a new Seniors Health and Wellness Centre in Kamloops, the Thompson Region Division of Family Practice and Interior Health would like to provide communication materials that are clear and educational for patients in the Kamloops community. The aim of this opportunity is to ensure that educational materials at the Seniors Health and Wellness Centre reflect the knowledge needs of patients. Recommendations from patient partners will be taken into consideration in the development of the final printed materials. Please note, while each recommendation will be carefully considered and impact decisions on the final materials, a direct reflection of each recommendation may not be visible in the final printed copy.Level of Engagement

- Diverse patient partners living in Kamloops and surrounding area.

The development of the Seniors Health and Wellness (SHWC) Centre at the North Hills Mall is a new Specialized Care Program specifically focused on older adults. Seniors health has been identified by Interior Health as a strategic priority and efforts are being made to ensure that the voices of older adults are heard in the development of the centre and related patient education materials.Health Care Partner Contact Information
