Patient partners will act as distributed leaders for the campaign and help promote Change Day in their local communities.

Background

The first Change Day BC initiative was held in 2015 by the BC Patient Safety and Quality Council along with our partners, and was extremely well received. Back by popular demand, we are doing it again this year! Change Day BC is building on the success of the global Change Day initiative and BC’s first Change Day in 2015 that inspired thousands of pledges – over 7800, in fact – from every corner of the province, and every area of care.  In addition, there are over 55 partner organizations partnering with the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council to help promote the campaign. Any BC health care providers, patients, family members, and anyone else who has an interest in health care and/or social programs can get involved.  Please  see the Getting Started Kit for information about the campaign.
