The Café Scientifique event, co-hosted by the UBC Cancer Prevention Research Cluster and the Canadian Cancer Society, will take place on November 6th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Our featured speaker, Dr. Gina Ogilvie, will lead an important discussion on Canada’s goal to eliminate cervical cancer by 2040, focusing on the critical role of HPV testing and vaccination in advancing early detection and prevention.

This event offers a unique opportunity to engage with leading experts, explore the latest public health strategies, and discuss how we can overcome barriers in healthcare delivery to achieve this ambitious goal.
